Joy has been a practicing Hygienist since 2000. She and her husband have been married since 2005 and have a daughter, Julia. Her hobbies include road biking and music.

Patient Impact: 

"During my training, I had the privilege of doing mission work in Belize. The last day we were there, the employees had their chance of getting their dental work done as well. One girl, whom I'll never forget, was so afraid to smile, let alone talk because of her severe halitosis. It turned out the patient had never had her teeth cleaned and she was 27 yrs old. After treating her periodontal disease, I followed up with the patient when I had returned home. The patient did extremely well and said all her friends were commenting on how much happier she was. Now, 8 years later, she is married and has 2 wonderful kids."
